How is Page Rank Calculated
I joined the world of blogging last month, April 03, 2008. And after two weeks of blogging, I focused on Exchanging Links with other Blogs and Websites. Everyday I Do SEO, especially in Exchanging Links.
On April 30, Google made changes in their Rankings. Many websites were promoted and also many were demoted.
My blog, promoted from “N/A” to Page Rank 0.. haha. At least I am not N/A anymore. But I am still wondering why I did not get at least Page Rank of 1. Because there were many blogs and websites linking me:
PR5 - 2
PR4 - 16
PR3 - 32
PR2 - 28
PR1 - 8
N/A & PR0 - 166
I think Blog Age doesn’t matter in Page Rankings. I really wonder why. Hehe. But in my Rank now (Page Rank 0) , I am satisfied. And I believe that my Page Rank will increase. We’ll just see it in the next update of Google. Hehe.

I don’t know how i got my page rank either, in fact it was my officemate who informed me about it, but i’m happy with the page rank 3. I got it after 8 months of blogging.

it comes with a blog’s age, and consistency, i guess. my site has been up four years now. i used to have a PR of 5 before i quit blogging last year. i now have a 4. i don’t think the number of links coming in matters a lot.
